We recommend you another flamenco show! On September 18, the Wrocław audience will be warmed up by the Spanish-Polish trio consisting of Anna "Samira" Mendak – dance, Borja Soto – singing and Damian Kowaliński – guitar. Keep with us holiday memories from sunny Spain!

Anna Mendak "Samira" is a belly and flamenco dancer, psychologist by profession. For over 25 years, she has performed on stage in various artistic projects as "Samira," giving countless shows in both dance styles. She is one of the precursors and the most known and respected dancers as well as flamenco and oriental dance instructors in Poland. She runs courses and workshops for the invitation of many dance schools throughout the country and during the most significant dance festivals in the country and abroad. In the years 2008–2009 she was the artistic director of the 'Nova Orient' Belly Dance Festival in Katowice. In 2015, she was the choreographer of the main heroine of the Egyptian fairy tale series "Arabian Nights" broadcast by Arab TV. Together with some bands and solo she performed at many folk, guitar and dance festivals, she has repeatedly appeared on the radio and television.



Borja Soto is currently the only Spanish flamenco singer residing in Poland, from Seville. He has been performing in Poland since 2013 in various formations during such events as: Unfinished house / European songs as part of the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016 cycle, Jazz in Palaces - Moszna Castle, Duende Festival in Poznań, Polish Dance Platform, Folk Inspirations Łódź, Ethno Jazz Festival Wrocław, European Capital of Culture - inauguration 2016, Music Festival in Bukowiec, International Folklore Festival in Zielona Góra, BRAVE Together. Artistic director of the Flamenco Evenings concert series. Leader of the international band Los Duendes.

Damian Kowaliński is the first Polish flamenco guitarist who, in the academic year 2011/2012, received a scholarship for outstanding results in learning to play the guitar at the internationally recognized school Fundación de Arte Flamenco Cristina Heeren in Seville, where he took lessons from masters of this genre. Currently, he lives in Poland and regularly performs in Poland and abroad with the most outstanding artists. He regularly invites musicians and dancers from Spain, introducing the Polish audience to the art of flamenco in its authentic form. Damian Kowaliński is primarily an active musician, but also a composer and teacher of flamenco guitar.
