After the well-received premiere of the album SPAIN, recorded together with Leszek Możdżer, the Pełech - Horna duo will perform in front of the Wrocław audience on March 5 in the Witrażowa Hall. The program will feature Spanish, Latin American and classical music as well as original arrangements of well-known popular music pieces.

Krzysztof Pełech & Robert Horna Duo is a classical guitar duo, unique on the map of Poland, which specializes in performing Latin American music - original arrangements in the style of samba, bossa-nova, tango as well as improvised smooth-jazz climates. They delight with beautiful melodies, richness of harmony and a sense of rhythm. The musicians' programme includes well-known compositions by Pat Metheny, Ralph Towner, Keith Jarrett, Astor Piazzolla and Chick Corea. The concert in March will promote the latest album, SPAIN. 

Krzysztof Pełech is a member of the worldwide elite circle of classical guitarists. He is one of the most active musicians of his generation (born 1970), Krzysztof Pełech performs extensively both as chamber musician and soloist with chamber and symphony orchestras. He has played in, among others, Germany (Berlin Philharmonic), US, Brazil, Mexico, Republic of South Africa, Egypt, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Mexico, Argentina and Chile, enjoying co-operations with outstanding composers and guitarists (including Jorge Morel, Jorge Cardoso, Joscho Stephan, Carlos Pinana and Tommy Emmanuel). He has won the rank of the best Polish classical guitarist three times in a ‘Guitar Top’ survey run by Gitara i Bas monthly. Krzysztof Pełech is the co-founder of Wrocław Guitar Society and artistic director of Wrocław Guitar Festival Gitara+. He is also one of the creators of International Guitar Summer Courses in Krzyżowa (Kreisau). Since October 2005 he has run a guitar class at the Bydgoszcz Academy of Music, where he received Ph.D. in art.

Robert Horna is a laureate of many national and international guitar competitions. He actively gives concerts in Poland, Switzerland, Romania, Moldova, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and South America. He gives recitals at many prestigious music festivals in Poland and abroad, during which he is regularly invited to give master classes. Robert Horna is a versatile artist - he performs in chamber ensembles, at concerts with orchestras and as part of solo recitals. The guitarist is also the author of three solo albums released by CD Accord Music Edition.

*A reduced ticket is available to retirees, pensioners, school and university students up to 26 years of age and disabled people with their guardian. Children under 7 years of age can attend the concert free of charge if they can sit on their parents' laps.
